Sambal belacan Kangkong.
Sweet & Sour chicken.
Hotplate Beef & Hotplate beancurd!

Remind me of food back home.
Yummmmmm…..

Then Bo’ did her best to imitate a steamboat ala szechuan style!

Bo’: Honey, u come tumorrow I cook-a hotta potter.
Me: cook Harry potter?!?
Bo’: No. U’know – like steamboat?
Me: Orhhhh… u mean hot pot?
Bo’: ya ya – hotta pot’uh.

Fun!!!!

Fasting month

I've always loved this fasting month - the idea that you cleanse your bodily system at least once a month year. It's jubilating! - Is there such word? haha.

Anyway, yeh... am still in Perth and I realise that I'm home sick or rather food sick.

I miss ayam lemak chilli padi. I miss sambal sotong basah. I miss ikan bakar. I miss nasi ayam. I miss Malay food. haha!

U know when I'm in Singapore I'd opt for western food but here in Perth, I'd crave Malay food only... Yikes!

Getting to know you..

I'm glad I got a chance to know my little cousin Adia. She's a bright little chit although extremely shy coz she's on her own all the time. As with any children, it takes time for them to trust you but this little girl seem to have a higher resistance than most children.

I'm not a child expert but having gone through some really bad childhood, I feel that I would be a good child-person.

Some people mAy confuse this with being chilld-like or childish even - to these people I stick out my tongue, *buwek*!

But BOY, does this tiny person comes with emotional strings!

This means not to come home late because she would get worried.
"Kakak - you are new in town and Adia scared you get lost"

Or when I do stay at another place for the weekend, she'll grumble.

"Kakak - why you have to go sleep elsewhere?"

She tugs at me little heart. Here's us!

Good Weekend!

Ok, let's start with the weather.

Fuyooh!

It's so cold!!! At night it reaches to 2degrees!
Me wake up just to wee wee and cdn't sleep till Mr Sun comes up!
The sunlight is harsh on my cheeks. A short walk and I get all rudderly!
pfft!

My first weekend in Perth City was sOo random. And sooo many new faces....

Meet Matt.
A young chap I met when I went into town earlier. He promised to bring me around. And for the early part of the evening I stuck with him but he was young and didn't hold my interest for long. I was about to head home when...

I met Michael and I followed him to another joint instead. He introduced me to so many others... End of the night, I went home with another for a night cap.

'nuff said.

Interestingly enough I met Mr Smokes (see picture below). If you know what it is then u know what it is - If not, No need to ask, ok.

Overall fun night. Will post more. Ciao.

Send Off Party

It was a miracle that I didn't miss my flight - the way Nikki told her story - missing your flight sounds sCary especially if you're in BKK but thats another story for another day.

Anyway...

2 of my mates turn up to help with the packing. Love ya folks!

but erm,,,, packing everything into ONE large luggage is Not a good idea coz me struggled to carry the luggage about but That just gave me the opportunity to hone my I'm-a-damsel-in-distress-look.

:)

Am here in Perth and since touchdown, I have done these things.(in random array)

- broke my lock on the guitar case coz I forgot to bring the keys
- hitched a ride
- went to the city alone
- broke my guitar string
- replaced my guitar string
- met up with a girl who works at local cinema (this is ultra impt for free movie invites)

Onto other issues, before I left I was given an assignment by Prue.
She's in a precarious relationship. (with the exception of my cuz Jewel - who isn't?!)

"How can one be together and yet not be together?"

Since I am at my wits end, I raise this question to my fellow readers.
What do you think?

Crack-ed Clown

People say that the one who smiles the most is the one with the most troubles. But how can you know that you are the one with the most problem unLESS you had met everyone else's problem.

Utterly absurd!
